Circle City Classic Scholarship
Application Now Available
On Monday, February 15, 2010, Indiana Black Expo released its 2010-2011 Circle City Classic scholarship application for Indiana high school seniors. The Circle City Classic scholarship program has awarded over $2 million since its inception in 1984.
Indiana Black Expo, Inc. is committed to assisting Indiana students in their pursuit of higher education. Scholarships will be awarded to current high school seniors who exhibit outstanding leadership, scholarship and community service. Emphasis will be placed on financial need and first generation students.
Applicants must meet ALL of the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be a high school senior;
- Must be an Indiana resident;
- Must have demonstrated academic success
(with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale); - Must have engaged in community service within the previous 12 months;
- Must be attending college full-time for the year of which they are seeking the award; and
- May not be a family member of IBE Board of Directors or staff.
Family members include children, siblings, parents, uncles, aunts, first cousins, grandparents, nieces, and nephews.
